Available Retired Cats
We are continually working to improve our breeding lines and so we will often have retired Kings and Queens available.
We do not offer a health guarantee with our retired cats however they do have dna tests and have hip tests done.

Breeding Rights
Not every litter will produce kittens that meet the high standards we look for in the next generation of breeding Kings and Queens. I place all kittens that look to be breed standard UNDER OBSERVATION so that I can watch how they develop.
I always claim first priority for a breeding kitten produced in our cattery second priority is given to registered catteries.
By setting aside kittens that are healthy, of sound temperament and meet the breed standard for breeding we are helping to ensure that future generations are not only healthy and of good temperament but that they also meet the breed standards. When deciding which kittens meet those standards I look at the Maine Coon
guidelines as found on the TICA and CFA website.

At Marwood Maine Coons, we have a streamlined reservation process designed specifically for approved breeders. Once your application has been reviewed and accepted, you’ll receive your Breeder Access Code. This code allows you to log in to the Breeders Page and view kittens offered with breeding rights.
Reservations are made on a first come, first reserved basis. A deposit secures your kitten, with the balance due before pickup or transport. Only kittens listed with breeding rights are available to breeders — all others are placed in pet homes under spay/neuter contracts.
