Feeding my cats a raw diet is one way I support strong bodies, good muscle, and steady growth. I keep it simple, clean, and consistent.
This is the raw mix I use in my home, what I add, and how I make it safely.

Where I Get My Raw Food
I source my raw food from Courtlyn Custom Dog Food.
They make raw mixes that are already made from meat, bone, and organs. I use their BPS mix and their chicken meat, bone, and organs mix. I do not buy chicken bone and organs somewhere else. It all comes from Courtlyn Custom.
The Most Important Part of My Raw Diet
The most important addition to my raw mix is Kitty Bloom.
Kitty Bloom is a completer for a raw diet. That means it is made to provide the key vitamins and minerals cats need when eating raw food. For me, it is the step that helps make the meal balanced and complete.
How Much My Cats Eat
My cats eat about 15 pounds of meat each day, I have 17 cats and when I have a litter of kittens that amount can go up to 18-20 pounds a day.
Because of that, I do not portion meals and freeze them again. I make the mix fresh every day.
What I Use Each Day
My base is a mix of two Courtlyn Custom blends
BPS mix
Chicken meat, bone, and organs mix
Then I add water and Kitty Bloom.
I may also add extra supports based on who I am feeding.
Vitamin C
I use this as part of my routine for teeth and bones.
Kitty Wate
I use this for kittens and moms.
BStrong
I use this to support proper hormonal growth.
Digest Aid
I use this to support gut health.
How I Make My Raw Mix Fresh Each Day
Step 1- I place the Courtlyn Custom BPS mix into my mixing container.
Step 2- I add the Courtlyn Custom chicken meat, bone, and organs mix.
Step 3- I add water to get a smooth texture that is easy to mix and scoop.
Step 4- I mix in Kitty Bloom first, since it is the most important addition.
Step 5- If needed, I add the other supports for kittens or moms.
Step 6- I serve it fresh the same day.
How I Store My Raw Food
I keep the raw food cold and I only take out what I need for that day.
I keep the rest sealed in the fridge or freezer, based on how it arrives and how soon it will be used.
Raw Food Safety Rules
Raw food can carry germs, just like raw chicken in your kitchen. Safety matters.
Wash hands before and after
Use clean tools and clean bowls
Sanitize the counter after prep
Keep raw food cold
Do not leave raw food sitting out
A Quick Note for Readers
Kittens, pregnant cats, and nursing moms have special needs. If you want to feed raw at home, it is smart to speak with your vet so you know the diet is safe and complete for your cat.
Closing
This is the raw plan that works well for my cats. I like that it is fresh each day, and I like that Kitty Bloom helps me feel confident that the meals are balanced.
